Dearest Readers,

You may have noticed I haven’t been very active on the blog over the last year.  In fact, the last time I posted anything at all was last August.  Wow.  Time sure flies.

Things have been going well for the Stephens Family.  We’ve been busy pursuing other goals, enjoying our family, and making memories.  This blog simply hasn’t been a priority, in spite of the countless hours that we initially poured into it.

That is why, after careful contemplation, we’ve decided to officially deactivate the site.  You’ll still be able to view the content through the end of April, but after that By The Seat of Our Pants will cease to exist.  To say this was a difficult decision would be a gross understatement.  I poured my heart and soul into this blog, and I’m very sad to let it go.  I’m very sad to let YOU, the readers, go.

However, I think we need to take a break.

It’s really for the best.

There’s just too much going on in my life right now.

It’s not you, it’s me.

I’ll always love you.

Thank you!

You guys put so much hard work into it – I’m sad to see it go, but happy for you that you’ll have time to focus on other things you need and want to focus on. I adore the Stephens family! xo

Sorry to hear this (though I understand). I’ve always enjoyed reading your posts 🙂

Thanks, Mali. Jason and I were just talking about you guys. We miss seeing you, but it looks like you’re having so much fun up north. If we take a family vacation that direction, we’ll be sure to get in touch. 🙂

So sorry to see it go, but you can still keep a backup copy of your blog in case you ever want to come back. Blogging is a huge time commitment and it only makes sense to focus on what fits best and is most beneficial for your family. Good luck in all your endeavors!

Thanks for all of your support, encouragement, and advise through this journey! We are definitely keeping a copy. 🙂
