To assist our readers in finding the perfect baby gift, we've compiled a list of our personal favorites!

I’ve been meaning to write this post for a while, since I’ve had so many people ask me for advice about what to buy for a new baby.  Whether you’re pregnant yourself, or just need to find that perfect gift for an expectant mom, you’ll find some great ideas here.

This list would also be a great jumping off point for a baby registry (and also check our our Baby Gear Picks for larger ticket items, which can be found at our Amazon Store).  If you’re creating a baby registry on Amazon, and you already have an  Amazon Prime Membership, don’t forget to sign up for Amazon Mom which includes a 15% Baby Registry Discount (and 20% off diapers if you subscribe).  I created a baby registry for LG, even though she was our second child and we weren’t having a baby shower.  I included everything I thought we might need for her arrival, and then bought it all at 15% off.  Easy peasy.

These products are all Stephens Family tested except for the vibration bathtub, which I selected as a replacement for the discontinued tub we use.  (It looks cool and has positive user reviews.).  LG is now four months old, and we’re still getting use out of most of these items.  In fact, in the last two weeks, we’ve used 25 of the 30 things on this list.  Although we received some of these items as gifts, we would absolutely buy all of them again, without reservation.

    Hi Guys!
I really enjoy your perspective on parenting and love reading your blog.

Here’s a few things I didn’t realize we could not live without until we had a little one of our own:

    1) Resolve stain stick: make sure you have 1 in your diaper bag or car for on the go
2)Clorox2 stain fighter and color booster: apply right to the stain and let sit for a few minutes before throwing in the wash. Safe on colors!
    3) Shout Color Catcher Dye-Trapping, In-Wash Cloths

Because its only a matter of time before you utter the words.. “It’s on everything!” or “…I didn’t really like that shirt anyway.”

What great tips, Alicia! I’m going to run right out and buy a Resolve Stain Stick immediately (or maybe two). We’ve had pretty decent luck with Oxy Clean instead of Clorox 2, and yes, Color Catchers. My mother-in-law turned me on to those because she makes beautiful quilts that often have darker and lighter fabrics together. They work like a charm. Thanks for reading and enjoying our blog! ~Chris
